The following drink and entree suggestions taste great and are highly nutritious. They are used by some of my vegetarian friends who take their diet and nutrition very seriously.
Juice 4 satsumas then peel 1 navel orange with a knife, leaving as much of the white "underpeel" on the orange as possible. Cut peeled orange into 4 sections and put in the blender with the satsuma juice. Blend until smooth for a sweet and delicious beverage.

Juice 1 or 2 navel oranges (1 for a thicker drink). Peel one navel leaving the white underpeel on the orange. Put the navel juice and the quartered navel in the blender and blend until smooth. Another great tasting and nutritious drink.
For both of the above smoothies, adding 2 ounces of nuts (pecans, walnuts, almonds) can make them into a liquid meal. The nuts add the necessary proteins and essential oils to the vitamins and minerals from the citrus. Voila, a quick and easy delicious meal.

Peel 2 Navel oranges, leaving as much of the white underpeel as possible. Quarter navels and place in blender, add 4 ounces of nuts and blend. The result is thick enough to eat with a spoon and makes a great breakfast dish.

The tried and true standby, fresh orange (using the Hamlin orange) or fresh grapefruit juice.
Don't throw the navel peels away. They can be grated into any dish or salad where the hint of orange flavor is desired. Dried peels can be used in teas.
